Solar Power Plant

Solar Power Plant – Main Components

A solar power plant is any type of facility that converts sunlight either directly, like Photovoltaic, or indirectly, like Solar Thermal plants, into electricity. They come in a variety of components with each using different techniques to generate electricity from the power of the sun.

Solar power plants produce electricity by converting solar radiation into high temperature heat using mirrors and reflectors commonly known as solar panels. The collectors are referred to as the solar-field. These charged cells of solar panel then transfer the generated electricity units to the grid or can be directly used in offices, homes or if placed on a larger scale, then to give electricity to even a society.

Normally, a huge number of solar panels are placed on big acres of leveled land such that sunlight directly falls on them and generates thousands of units of electricity. Such big projects are called Solar Power Plants which require the use of Bulldozers to maintain and level thousand acres of land in order to place the panels in an organized and correct direction to Sunlight.

Solar power plants require the use of Bulldozers and other heavy earth moving machinery to make efficient use from the project they want to set up on it.

Advantages of Solar Energy:

Most clean and renewable source of energy.
It is available in abundance and endless.
It provides electricity at low cost, as fuel is free.
Recent advancements in this field of research have bestowed upon us a robust and efficient power storage resolution.
Keeping in mind the pollution and cost of fossil fuel, it’s becoming the most reliable source of clean energy.
